Smoked mackerel pate from the Wimbledon Smokehouse, made a few miles from our counter with mackerel hot smoked on site in south London. The smokehouse brines its fish in hand-harvested Atlantic sea salt, dries it overnight and smokes it over beechwood blends. The pate is rich and smoky, good on hot toast with lemon or beside a sharp cucumber salad. 125g pot.
