An easy fish supper for two. Two prepared fillets cut to order, a handful of shell-on king prawns, samphire, a signature sauce and a cooking card. On the table in twenty minutes.

Subject to the market. What the counter holds changes with the market and the weather. When a line is short we pack a close substitute of equal value and write the change on the packing note. For special orders we confirm any change with you before we pack the box.

Keep and storage. The box travels chilled with a gel pack. Unpack it into the fridge as soon as it arrives. Eat fresh fish within a day or two of delivery. Most lines freeze well on the day they arrive.

The fillets are cut to order at the Barnes counter, so the pair varies through the week.

How to cook it

Everything arrives prepared, so supper is about twenty minutes of easy cooking. A cooking card comes in the box.

Pan-fry the fillets skin side down in a little oil for three or four minutes, then a minute on the flesh side.
Cook the prawns in the same pan, about two minutes a side until coral and opaque.
Blanch the samphire for thirty seconds and toss it in butter. It needs no added salt.
Warm the sauce gently and pour it over at the table.

Storage and preparation

Unpack everything into the coldest part of the fridge as soon as it arrives and cook within two days.

Tell us how you want it in the order notes. Filleting, pin-boning and skinning are free, by hand at the counter. If you ask for a fish to be trimmed, headed or skinned, the finished weight comes down accordingly.
