Whole sardines from Portuguese waters, frozen round at a 16/20 grade. The sardine is built for fire: gut them, salt them well and grill or barbecue until the skin blisters, then eat them with bread, lemon and your hands, the way Portugal does. They also bake well with tomatoes and oregano. Thaw in the fridge and cook the same day. Sold by the bag.
