Geo Watkins Anchovy Sauce is a Victorian kitchen essence first sold by London grocer George Watkins in 1830: 34% salted anchovies worked into a pourable sauce with vinegar, mace and a touch of chilli. A teaspoon adds savoury depth without tasting fishy. Shake it into fish pie sauce, Welsh rarebit, a beef stew or melted butter for grilled fish. 190ml bottle.
