Trout roe is the bright orange egg of the trout, smaller than salmon roe with a cleaner, less oily finish. Each egg pops against the tongue and releases a light saline sweetness. Spoon it over blinis with creme fraiche, finish scrambled eggs or dress a piece of poached white fish. Keep chilled and eat within a few days of opening. 90g jar.
