Potted crab from Seafood & Eat It of Newlyn: hand-picked Cornish crab brightened with lime and gentle spice, sealed under a layer of spiced butter in the old English manner. Potting was how crab travelled before refrigeration, and it still concentrates the flavour beautifully. Bring it to room temperature, then spread crab and butter together over hot toast. 50g pot.
