A rock salt selected by Maldon, the Essex salt makers, from ancient deposits in the Himalayan foothills. The pink colour comes from trace minerals in the crystal. These are whole crystals for the grinder or mortar, a workhorse seasoning salt for the pan and the table where the pyramid flakes would be wasted. 250g box.
