Trout roe from Le Comptoir du Caviar, the French caviar house: rainbow trout eggs from Danish farms, harvested in the autumn and put up as 96.5% roe with only salt added. The grains are large and golden-orange with a clean pop and a delicate finish, gentler than salmon roe. Spoon it over blinis with creme fraiche or onto warm potatoes with soured cream. Keep between 0 and 4 degrees. 90g jar.
