Goldstein is among the oldest family firms of salmon curers in London, in the fish trade from 1891 and smoking salmon from 1911, now in its fourth generation. The house style is the traditional mild London cure: a dry cure, then slow smoking over smouldering oak dust. The 100g pack is breakfast and a sandwich: smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, or on a bagel with cream cheese, as London has always eaten it.
